Youth in Action

The COVID-19 pandemic has made it clear that public health impacts all areas of life and well-being. However, COVID-19 only exacerbated the health inequities and disparities observed in adolescents from different racial and ethnic backgrounds prior to its onset.

The Youth in Action for Health Equity program at Touro University – California uses a Youth Participatory Action Research approach to address prioritized health issues in a school-based environment.

The Institute for Health Logistics & Analytics (IHLA) at Georgia Southern University is proud to partner with Touro University – California to provide analytics support for the Youth in Action programming.
