Omar Soliman Lecture
On Tuesday, November 16th, the Entrepreneurship Club held a public lecture featuring guest speaker Omar Soliman. Omar Soliman is the co-founder and CEO of College Hunks Hauling Junk. He came to Georgia Southern and spoke to around 70 students about his experience starting up his own business.
College Hunks Hauling Junk is a junk removal service that specializes in providing professional, clean cut labor. Omar first conceived of the idea when he was still in college. He pitched the business plan during a competition at his university and won first place and $10,000. Like most of us, he thought the path to success was to make good grades and eventually get a job with an established company. When the corporate world became too much though, Omar decided to follow his passion and make College Hunks Hauling Junk the successful business it is today.
