Global Entrepreneurship Week

This week (November 15th to 19th) is Global Entrepreneurship Week.

For one week, millions of young people around the world join a growing movement of entrepreneurial people, to generate new ideas and to seek better ways of doing things. Countries across six continents come together to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week, an initiative to inspire young people to embrace innovation, imagination and creativity. To think big — and to turn their ideas into reality.

To celebrate Entrepreneurship this week Georgia Southern University has the following events and activities:

Tuesday Nov. 16th – Evans Hooks Cattle Co. Inc. Founder and Owner, Evans Hooks will visit on campus with our Entrepreneurship classes to talk about his experiences working in a family business.

Tuesday Nov. 16th – the Entrepreneurship Club is hosting a public lecture in the Nessmith-Lane building at 5:00pm.  The speaker is Omar Soliman the founder and CEO of College Hunks Hauling Junk.

Wednesday Nov. 17th –  it will be the turn of the MBA students to present their business plans to a panel of investors in the College of Business Administration 3311 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

It should be an exciting (and busy) week.
