STEM Summit

The Georgia Southern University Institute for Interdisciplinary STEM Education and the Office of Research invite you to participate in the Interdisciplinary STEM Education Research Summit. The Summit builds on, the previously held, STEM Research Symposium held in Savannah, Georgia in 2012, with the goal of establishing active research collaborations focused on interdisciplinary STEM education issues. The Summit will incorporate four research themes related to interdisciplinary STEM education:
• Rural STEM education
• 21st Century Reasoning Modalities including Quantitative Reasoning, Model-based Reasoning, Computational Reasoning, and Engineering Design
• Practice-based Learning applicable to STEM education
• Project-based Learning and Place-based Education
