Mission

  • Our mission at the RHRI is to engage in interdisciplinary research that improves health outcomes, reduces health disparities in rural communities, and promotes the development of researchers examining rural health issues.

Vision

  • The Rural Health Research Institute will become the leading organization focused on improving the health of rural communities through interdisciplinary research and outreach.

Values

  • The Rural Health Research Institute is guided by its:
      • Dedication to improve lives among rural and underserved populations
      • Pursuit of innovative strategies and methods to address pressing health needs of rural communities
